Department of Statistics
The department of Statistics was established in 1986 and caters to the training of B. Sc. subsidiary (Mathematics Main) students at the college. The department now offers Statistics courses for the M.A. Economics programme as well as complementary courses for the B.Sc. Mathematics programme, and it strives to maintain high standards of statistics teaching and research. Smt. Kunjamma George, Smt. D. Geetha, Sri. K K. Sankaran, and Sri. Sajayan T had offered their services as department heads. Dr. Priya R S currently leads the department.
