The Department of Arabic was established in 1975. Former faculty including Prof. T.K. Abdullakkutty and Prof. Khairunnisa had offered their services as the former Heads of the department. The department is currently headed by Smt. Jaseena T.P.

Infrastructure

The department has a Library to cater to the academic needs of the Degree students who have opted for Arabic as their second language.
