Electronics department was started in 1998. The department offers complementary course in Electronics for the students of B.Sc Physics. Sri.Rajesh M R, Assistant Professor, is the HOD of the department since November, 2012.

On completion of the complementary Electronics course the student will have sound knowledge of the theory behind subjects like Electronic components, Electronic measuring and testing instruments, Analog and Digital IC’s, Electronic circuit design and implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of electronic and electrical devices. The curriculum of complementary electronics includes 4 theory papers and one practical. The theory papers are Electronic Devices, Electronic circuits, Digital Electronics and Communication Electronics. The practical includes Electronic devices Lab, Electronic Circuits Lab, Digital Electronics Lab and Communication Electronics Lab.
